Clicking on PIck Stock on the Mobile App will take you to the Pick stock log-in screen (Picture A), Here you need to enter the Picking List ID for the Job you are picking and the Location that you will be placing the stock once picked, N.B. this location must be enabled as Allow Despatch in Warehouse>Stock Locations (Picture B) Now Click on PICK STOCK to go to the picking screen | ||
The picking screen shows the items that need to be picked for this job, for this example we have two items however a picking list would usually include many more (Picture A). When you scan an item as picked it will disappear from the picking screen, if you scan an incorrect item then you will get an error message (Picture B). In this example the item that we are picking is in two parts, i.e the pick requires part 1 of 2 and part 2 of 2 as shown on the screen After we scanned part 1 of 2 as PID JRN11596YLA/1 the item disappeared from the picking screen, we then tried to scan another part 1 of 2 PID and received the error message. After finding and scanning a part 2 of 2 as PID JRN11701PZQ/2 (note the /1 /2 at the end of the PID marks which part it is) this too disappeared from the picking screen. | ||
Once the picking list is clear you can click the back button on the mobile device and you will be asked if you wish to exit the picking list (Picture A) If we now look at the Warehouse>Stock Items & PIDs window in Journease (Picture B), we can see that the two items picked have been relocated to the DESP location selected when we logged into the picking list. |
