Additional Price/Costs

Add New
To add a new Additional Price/Cost simply click on the + Add New button to create a new line, then fill in the required details on that line.
Once Entered or Changed make sure to click the Save button to save the changes to the database
NOTE: The Additional Price/Cost Name must be unique, check to see if there is already an Additional Price/Cost of that name that may be non-active by unticking the Only Show Active Services checkbox
NOTE: column order will differ from your screen if you have re-ordered columns manually
Name
A unique name for this Additional Price/Cost, these will list alphabetically and should not contain special characters
Special Characters to avoid * & ^ ' % ”
Active
Tick this Checkbox to make this Vehicle / Service Type available for use
Price - Price %
Use these columns to set either a fixed Price or a percentage of the overall price that will apply when this additional Price is added to a job. This is what you will charge the Customer
You can only enter a fixed price OR a percentage, NOT both
Cost - Cost %
Use these columns to set either a fixed Cost or a percentage of the overall Cost that will apply when this Additional Cost is added to a job. This is what it will cost You
You can only enter a fixed price OR a percentage, NOT both
VAT Code
By default you can select from T1 (VAT) or T0 (No VAT), although other VAT codes may be available if set up in your VAT Codes Screen
A VAT code MUST be entered before an Additional Price/Cost can be saved
Price Matrix 1 / 2 / 3
These columns allow you to apply up to three Price Matrices to govern the Price of using this Vehicle Type
Cost Matrix 1 / 2 / 3
These columns allow you to apply up to three Vehicle Cost Matrices to govern the Cost of using this Vehicle Type
Cost Centre
This is the nominal code (usually used for 3rd party accounts software) for the costs associated with this vehicle Type
Supplier Deduction
Tick this if this Additional Charge is for a deduction from a suppliers pay, (e.g. for van rental or uniform supply)
NOTE this must have a negative cost figure
Vehicle Cost
Tick this checkbox if this Additional Cost is going to apply to Vehicle costs instead of Supplier Costs
Trunking Charge
Tick this checkbox if this Additional Cost is going to apply to Trunking Costs, this Additional Price will then be available in the Customer Screen Pricing tab
Pickup Charge
Tick this checkbox if this Additional Cost is going to apply to Pickup Type Job Addresses, this Additional Price will then be available in the Customer Screen Pricing tab
Congestion Charge
Tick this if this additional charge relates to adding congestion charge or CAZ charge
NOTE there should only be one congestion charge which will work as a base for all Ulez/CAZ/Congestions that are set as active
Job Question
This column is only used for Legacy and Hybrid Users and has no relevance in GO
