Book New Stock |
Product Code | Use the drop-down box to select previously used product codes or type a new code in for new products |
Product Description etc | If entering a new product then fill out the remaining details as required. |
Non Stk'ble | Tick this box if this product cannot be stacked on top of each other |
Est Wgt | Tick this box if the weight details entered is estimated - this is used when allocating stock to trips to calculate the Load Summery |
Qty | Enter the quantity of the product that you are booking in |
Customer | If this is a new product that is associated with a specific customer then use this drop-down box to select the customer (N.B. whenever this product is called it will automatically allocate to this customer) |
Location | Use this drop-down box to allocate the stock to a stock location, if you do not specify a location then the stock will be entered as your default location which is set in Stock Locations |
Job Number | If this stock is already allocated to a job then enter the Job Number here, if left blank then the stock will still be added but |
Use By Date | If this product has a use by requirement then enter this here - this will ensure that when allocating stock, the stock closest to the use by date will be allocated first |
Master PID | Tick this box if the product you are creating is a Master PID, (A Master PID is used to label a container of small items, these items would then be given Child PIDs when booked in) |
Create Stock | Click this button to process the new booking and add the stock, this will allocate unique PIDs for each item. If a product comes in multiple pieces then a PID will have to be created for each piece, this is done by putting in the number of pieces in the Pieces text box, when we create stock this will add these as sub PIDs (i.e. it will have the same PID number but will have /2, /3, etc at the end of the PID) |
Create Master PID | This button will only highlight when the Multi Select Mode tickbox is ticked in the main window, this will allow you to select stock and either create or amend a master PID (N.B. all stock items must be the same product as the master PID that you are amending/creating |
