SaveClick to save any changes that you have done
Do Not Reprint LabelsIf this is un-ticked then every time you save a new label will be printed for the PID you have changed
DepotUse this drop-down box to select the Depot whos stock you wish to view / change
  • View Old PIDs
  • Only Show Rejected
  • Only show un-actioned
  • Old PIDs are Items that have been removed from the live stock (e.g. delivered PIDs)
  • use these two controls to filter out live PIDs and only show Rejects and Rejects that are awaiting resolution, (N.B. the "only show un-actioned" tickbox will only highlight if the Rejected tickbox is ticked
Label / Report TemplateUse this drop-down box to select the type of label or report you wish to print

Preview / Print

Once you have selected stock by ticking the appropriate tickbox' in the main window and the required template in the above drop-down box, click this to preview and print.
ReturnsClicking this will open a new window (Fig 2) to allow you to create a returns manifest for stock being returned to the warehouse (e.g. undelivered stock)
Decant / Relocate
Relocate to DepotTick this to enable stock relocation between depots (select stock item(s) to relocate, then use the drop-down box to select which depot you are relocating to
Relocate ButtonWhen you have set the above tickbox and drop-down box click this to action the relocate, a Security box will pop up asking you to input a phrase to permit the relocation, once entered the stock item(s) will be relocated as required.
Book New Stock
Product CodeUse the drop-down box to select previously used product codes or type a new code in for new products
Product Description etcIf entering a new product then fill out the remaining details as required.
Non Stk'bleTick this box if this product cannot be stacked on top of each other
Est WgtTick this box if the weight details entered is estimated - this is used when allocating stock to trips to calculate the Load Summery
QtyEnter the quantity of the product that you are booking in
CustomerIf this is a new product that is associated with a specific customer then use this drop-down box to select the customer (N.B. whenever this product is called it will automatically allocate to this customer)
LocationUse this drop-down box to allocate the stock to a stock location, if you do not specify a location then the stock will be entered as your default location which is set in Stock Locations
Job NumberIf this stock is already allocated to a job then enter the Job Number here, if left blank then the stock will still be added but
Use By DateIf this product has a use by requirement then enter this here - this will ensure that when allocating stock, the stock closest to the use by date will be allocated first
Master PIDTick this box if the product you are creating is a Master PID, (A Master PID is used to label a container of small items, these items would then be given Child PIDs when booked in)
Create StockClick this button to process the new booking and add the stock, this will allocate unique PIDs for each item. If a product comes in multiple pieces then a PID will have to be created for each piece, this is done by putting in the number of pieces in the Pieces text box, when we create stock this will add these as sub PIDs (i.e. it will have the same PID number but will have /2, /3, etc at the end of the PID)
Create Master PIDThis button will only highlight when the Multi Select Mode tickbox is ticked in the main window, this will allow you to select stock and either create or amend a master PID (N.B. all stock items must be the same product as the master PID that you are amending/creating
Filter Criteria
  • Stock Items
  • Non Stock Items
  • Hide Transit PIDs
  • Use these tickboxes to filter what is shown in the main window, stock items and non stock items are ticked TO include, Hide transit PIDs is ticked to NOT include
  • Transit PIDs are items that are not in the warehouse but are stored on trailers or being moved e.g. on a Job
Text boxesUse the textboxes to filter the main window to specific criteria
Refresh / ClearUse these buttons to refresh the view in the main window and to clear all criteria from the filter
Tracking Stock Movement
You can quickly track the movement of PIDs within the system, use the Filter described above to locate the PID for the item you are wanting to track. highlight the specific PID (in the PID column) from the resulting list and press F3 on your keyboard, this will create a report of all stock movements for this specific PID from creation to present including the user that registered the stock movement.

Version 6.6.556 has brought a new TickBox to the Stock Items & PIDs window. This Do not Print tickbox, When ticked, will allow you to create stock without automatically printing the PID Labels
