Add New / Open existing Depot

The Grid shows all current Depots, with details of the Depot Code, Address and Active State.

If there are more than 50 Depots then they will be paged, the page can be selected using the controls in the bottom right, and the Page Size can be selected in the top left, of the Grid

Filtering

The Grid can be filtered to help quickly locate the required Depot

New Depot

To add a new Depot, click on the +Add Depot button

This will open the Depot Entry Screen

Minimum requirement

Once the Depot Entry Screen is open the required fields for a new depot are:

1. Depot Code = The unique name given to this Depot

2. Postcode = The Postcode for this Depot (needed for routing)

Advanced

• Active = Check box to determine if the Depot is Active (Available for use) / Non Active (Hidden and unusable)

• Is Default Depot = You can only have one Default Depot, this will be the Depot that is used when no other is signified, usually your Company Location.

Finances

• Department Code = This is used for Sage Accounting to determine the department code in Sage into which Warehouse Invoices for this Depot will be exported.

• Stock Search Order = This is used when auto-allocating stock to Jobs and determines in which order the Depots are searched for the required Stock Item.

• Cost Centre = This is the nominal code that will apply to any financial actions that use this Depot, e.g. Warehouse Charging.

Company Information

• Company Name = The name of the Depot, or Company that owns the Satellite Depot.

• Address = The Address of the Depot

• City = The City where the Depot is Situated

• Postcode = The Postcode for the Depot (Required Field)

• Country = The Country where the Depot is Situated

Contact Information

• Contact Name = The main contact for this Depot

• Tel No. = Telephone contact number for the Depot

• Mob No. = Mobile contact number for the Depot

• Email = The main contact Email Address for this Depot

• Cc Email = Copy Email Addresses for this Depot (Multiple email addresses can be added here separated by a semicolon ( ; )

• Bcc Email = Blind Copy Email Addresses for this Depot (Multiple email addresses can be added here separated by a semicolon ( ; )
