Receive Stock
PIcture A | Picture B | |
When receiving new stock the mobile App uses Customer Product codes that are stored in the Lookup>Products window, this would usually be the Universal ID for that product For this example we have entered and will be using the Customer Product Code GHI which signifies a 90 MATT 90 MATTRESS (single)
When you click on the receive stock button on the main menu you will be taken to the delivery entry screen (Picture A) Here you will need to enter the Batch/Container Number for the delivery, a Location where the delivery is going to be placed once offloaded and any notes, e.g. AM Delivery, Damaged Packaging, etc (Picture B) Next click on the Receive Stock button to progress to the next screen
1 2 | At the top of the screen you will see the Ref/Con No: and Location that you entered and an empty input box (Picture A) If the products have been set up correctly in Lookup>Products table then you will be able to simply scan the universal code on the product, If the code is not recognised then you will get the error message shown in picture B1. For this example we have typed in the Customer Product Code as mentioned above. Once the item has been scanned / input then the App will search the products table, match up the universal code to the item and display the item on a list to say that it has now been entered at the specified location. Once you have scanned all items in then you can exit the Receive Stock screen by clicking the back button on the mobile device, you will be asked if you wish to exit the screen. If we now look at Warehouse>Stock Items & PIDs we can see that the item here has been added to stock Although here we have only added a single item, multiple items can be added by simply scanning each item in turn before exiting the receive screen. |
