Matrices
Fig 1 |
Here we can set up various pricing matrices that will affect Job pricing.
|
Example (fig 1) (Progressive tickbox is ticked = will price each job starting with line 1 and work down till complete) To explain this example the minimum price for this Matrix is £20, that means regardless of how many miles are done if the price is less than £20 it will charge at £20. Line 1 states that from 1 to 20 miles the Job will be priced at £10 regardless of distance (as per the price put into the price break column). Line 2 states that from 21 to 30 miles the job will be priced at £1.60 per unit (in this instance 1 unit = 1 mile as set in the Unit Increment – per box). Line 3 states that from 31 to 50 miles the job will be priced at £1.50 per unit. Therefore, a job using this Matrix that has a full distance of 40 miles will be charged £10 (Line 1) + £14.40 (9 miles @ £1.60/mile Line 2) + £13.50 (9 miles @ £1.50/mile Line 3) = £37.90 as this is above the £20 minimum charge it will be charged at this. Note that if the Job distance was 15 miles, the matrix would charge £10 (Line 1), however this would be overridden by the minimum charge so the final charge will be £20 (Progressive tickbox is unticked = will price the job based on which line the full distance lies on) If the progressive tickbox is not ticked then Journease will look at the maximum distance, in this example 40 miles, and see that that lies between 31 miles and 50 miles so will price the entire job according to Line 3 (£1.50 per unit) = £60 |
